This female thread coupling screws directly into threaded ports on air receivers, manifolds, hose reels, and fixed airline drops. The parallel Rp 3/8″ BSP thread ensures a metal-to-metal seal when paired with a bonded washer or PTFE tape, while the quick-release mechanism allows instant tool changes without depressurising the system.

Installation Guide
- Prepare the thread: Clean the male thread and apply 2-3 wraps of PTFE tape in a clockwise direction.
- Hand-tighten: Screw the coupling onto the threaded port until finger-tight.
- Final tighten: Use a spanner on the hex body to tighten a further 1-2 turns. Do not over-tighten.
- Pressure test: Pressurise the system and check for leaks using soapy water.
- Connect: Push the male adaptor into the coupling until you hear a positive click.
Maintenance & Care
- Inspect O-ring seals regularly for wear or damage
- Clean coupling sleeve and internal bore to remove debris
- Apply a light film of pneumatic lubricant to moving parts
- Replace seals if air leakage occurs
