- Ensure air line is depressurised before installation
- Apply PTFE tape to male threads (2-3 wraps clockwise)
- Hand-tighten coupling onto hose tailpiece until finger-tight
- Use appropriate spanner to tighten additional 1-1.5 turns
- Pressure test system at working pressure and check for leaks
