Pneumatic Fittings — Precision Series

10mm → 6mm Stem Reducer Push-Fit Tube Adapter

Engineered for professionals who cannot afford a leak. This nickel-plated brass stem reducer delivers a permanent, vibration-proof connection between 10mm pneumatic stems and 6mm polyurethane or nylon tubing — in seconds, without tools.

✓ UK Stock ✓ 0–10 Bar Rated ✓ RoHS & REACH Compliant ✓ ISO 9001 Tested ✓ 12-Month Warranty

When a mismatched tube diameter threatens your air line integrity, this stem reducer is the professional solution. Machined from solid brass with a corrosion-resistant nickel finish, it accepts a 10mm push-fit stem on one end and a 6mm tube on the other — locking both with a precision collet that holds firm under pressure, vibration, and repeated cycling. No thread tape. No wrenches. No callbacks.

Vibration-Proof Locking ColletStainless steel collet grips the tube under load, preventing pull-out even in high-cycle environments.
Tool-Free Tube ReleaseDepress the collet ring to release the tube cleanly — ideal for reconfiguring circuits without damage.
Corrosion-Resistant Nickel FinishProtects against workshop moisture, oils, and atmospheric corrosion for long service life.
RoHS & REACH CompliantMeets EU and UK environmental directives — safe for use in regulated industrial and OEM applications.
Workshop Air ToolsAdapt compressor outlets to smaller-bore tool lines without pressure loss.
Compressor SystemsIntegrate into manifold assemblies where mixed tube diameters are unavoidable.
Automation & ControlReliable in pneumatic logic circuits, actuator feeds, and valve islands.
Mobile Service RigsCompact form factor suits van-mounted and portable compressed air systems.

Ensure system pressure is isolated before installation.

  1. Cut tubing square using a tube cutter — avoid angled or crushed ends.
  2. Insert the 6mm tube firmly into the push-fit end until it bottoms out.
  3. Tug gently to confirm the collet has locked the tube in place.
  4. Connect the 10mm stem end to your fitting or manifold port.
  5. Pressurise the system and inspect for leaks with soapy water or leak detector spray.
