Installation & Assembly
- Prepare the Hose: Cut hose cleanly and squarely using a sharp blade. Ensure internal diameter is 6.35mm (1/4″).
- Thread the Union Nut: Slide the Rp 3/8 union nut onto the hose before inserting the tailpiece.
- Insert Tailpiece: Push the coned barb firmly into the hose until fully seated against the shoulder.
- Secure Connection: Thread the union nut onto the mating component and tighten to manufacturer's torque specification.
- Pressure Test: Always pressure-test assemblies before putting into service.
Important: This tailpiece requires a separate Rp 3/8 union nut (not included). Ensure compatibility with your existing system components.
