Application & Installation
This coned tailpiece assembly is engineered for secure, leak-free connections in compressed air systems. The precision-machined cone creates a metal-to-metal seal when the union nut is tightened, eliminating the need for PTFE tape on the tailpiece itself.

Installation Notes:
Slide the union nut onto the hose before fitting the tailpiece. Push hose fully onto the tailpiece barb, then hand-tighten the union nut onto the Rp 3/8 female thread. Use two spanners for final tightening—one to hold the body, one to turn the nut. Apply PTFE tape to the male thread only.
