Installation & Usage
- Thread Preparation: Apply PTFE tape or thread sealant to male thread (2-3 wraps clockwise when viewing thread end-on).
- Hand Tighten: Screw coupling onto male thread by hand until finger-tight. Avoid cross-threading.
- Final Torque: Use adjustable spanner to tighten 1-1.5 turns beyond hand-tight. Do not over-torque.
- Pressure Test: Pressurize system gradually and check for leaks using soapy water solution.
- Connect Tools: Push male plug fully into coupling until audible click confirms engagement.
- Disconnect: Pull back collar sleeve and withdraw plug in one smooth motion.
Maintenance & Care
- Inspect coupling regularly for wear, cracks, or damage to sealing surfaces
- Clean external surfaces with degreaser to remove oil, dust, and debris
- Lubricate internal valve mechanism quarterly with pneumatic tool oil
- Replace coupling if air leakage occurs or connection becomes loose
