Why Jubilee® Leads the Industry

🔧 Precision Worm Drive Engineering

The signature Jubilee® worm drive mechanism provides infinite adjustment within the size range, ensuring optimal clamping force without over-compression. The precision-cut thread delivers smooth, controlled tightening and prevents band slippage under vibration.

🛡️ Marine-Grade 304 Stainless Steel

Manufactured from premium 304 stainless steel (18% chromium, 8% nickel), this clip offers superior resistance to atmospheric corrosion, moisture, and chemical exposure. Ideal for outdoor installations, marine environments, and food-grade applications.

⚙️ Universal Compatibility

The 158–190mm diameter range accommodates a wide variety of hose and pipe assemblies, from large-bore air compressor lines to industrial coolant systems. The 12.7mm band width distributes clamping pressure evenly, protecting hose integrity.

🔄 Field-Proven Reliability

Jubilee® clips have been the professional's choice since 1921. This Size 7.5 variant is engineered for heavy-duty applications where vibration, thermal cycling, and environmental exposure demand uncompromising performance.

Installation Best Practices

  1. Hose Preparation: Ensure hose ends are clean, dry, and free from damage or contamination.
  2. Fitting Engagement: Push hose fully onto barbed or serrated fitting until it reaches the stop.
  3. Clip Positioning: Position clip 5–10mm back from hose end, centered over the barb or serration.
  4. Tightening Sequence: Tighten worm screw gradually using a flat-blade or 7mm socket driver. Apply 4–5 Nm torque.
  5. Inspection: Check for uniform band contact around the full circumference. Hose should not bulge or twist.
  6. Pressure Test: Pressurize system gradually and inspect for leaks before full operation.

Hose Compatibility Guide

Size 7.5 clips are optimized for hoses with the following outside diameters:

  • Minimum OD: 158mm (6.22") – use at maximum tightness
  • Optimal Range: 165–185mm (6.5"–7.28") – ideal clamping zone
  • Maximum OD: 190mm (7.48") – use at minimum tightness

Note: For hoses at the extreme ends of the range, consider the next size up or down for optimal clamping force and band engagement.

UK Stock – Fast Dispatch

All Jubilee® clips are held in our UK warehouse for same-day dispatch on orders placed before 2 PM. We ship via tracked courier services to ensure your components arrive quickly and safely.

Maintenance & Care

  • Periodic Inspection: Check clip tightness every 6–12 months in high-vibration environments.
  • Re-torque: If hose material has compressed, re-tighten to specification.
  • Cleaning: Wipe with clean cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners that may scratch stainless finish.
  • Storage: Store in dry conditions; stainless steel is corrosion-resistant but not corrosion-proof in extreme environments.
