Installation Best Practice
- Select Correct Size – Measure hose OD when fitted over the spigot. Size 0 suits 16–22mm. Clip should sit in the middle third of its range for optimal grip.
- Position the Clip – Slide clip over hose before fitting to barb or spigot. Position band 5–10mm back from hose end to avoid splitting.
- Fit Hose to Connection – Push hose fully onto barb or spigot until it bottoms out. Ensure hose is not twisted or kinked.
- Tighten Progressively – Use screwdriver or hex driver to tighten screw. Apply firm, even pressure—do not over-tighten. Hose should compress slightly but not bulge.
- Inspect & Test – Check clip is square to hose axis and screw housing is not fouling adjacent components. Pressure-test system before final commissioning.
Hose Material Compatibility
Recommended for: Rubber (NBR, EPDM, SBR), PVC, polyurethane, silicone, neoprene, reinforced textile hoses.
Not suitable for: PTFE, thin-wall soft tubing, or applications requiring stainless steel (use Jubilee® stainless clips for marine, food, or high-corrosion environments).
