Installation Best Practice
- Select the correct size – Measure hose outer diameter; clip should overlap by 5-10mm when closed
- Position the clip – Slide over hose end before fitting to barb or spigot
- Seat the hose – Push hose fully onto fitting until it reaches the stop or flange
- Position the housing – Rotate clip so screw head is accessible and clear of obstructions
- Tighten evenly – Use screwdriver or 8mm spanner; tighten until hose is secure but not crushed
- Inspect – Check for even band contact around circumference; no gaps or twists
Torque recommendation: Hand-tight plus ¼ turn. Over-tightening can damage hose or reduce clip lifespan.
