Installation Guidelines

  1. Prepare the Port — Ensure female R 1/4″ port is clean and free from debris or old sealant
  2. Apply Thread Seal — Use PTFE tape or liquid sealant on male threads (2-3 wraps clockwise)
  3. Hand Tighten — Thread coupling into port by hand until finger-tight
  4. Final Torque — Use appropriate spanner to tighten 1-1.5 turns beyond hand-tight
  5. Pressure Test — Verify connection integrity at working pressure before full operation

Note: Avoid over-tightening which may damage threads or crack the fitting body.
