Installation Guide
- Prepare the Port: Ensure the R 3/8 female port is clean and free from debris or old sealant.
- Apply Sealant: Wrap 2-3 turns of PTFE tape clockwise on the male threads, or apply liquid thread sealant.
- Thread the Coupling: Hand-tighten into the port, then use a spanner to tighten 1.5–2 full turns past hand-tight.
- Insert the Tube: Cut 12mm polyurethane or nylon tube square, push firmly into the coupling until it bottoms out.
- Test the Connection: Pressurize the system gradually and check for leaks with soapy water.

This coupling accepts 12mm OD (outer diameter) pneumatic tubing in the following materials:
- Polyurethane (PU) – Recommended for general workshop use
- Nylon (PA) – For high-temperature or chemical-resistant applications

Note: Tube must have a clean, square-cut end for proper sealing. Use a tube cutter, not a knife.
