Installation Guide
- Prepare the Tube – Cut the tube end square using a sharp blade. Remove any burrs with fine sandpaper.
- Check the Collet – Ensure the internal collet is seated correctly and the O-ring is visible inside the coupling body.
- Insert the Tube – Push the tube firmly into the coupling until you feel resistance, then push 2-3mm further until it clicks.
- Verify the Connection – Tug the tube gently. It should not pull free. The anti-kink spring should sit flush against the coupling body.
- Pressure Test – Pressurise the system slowly and check for leaks using soapy water around the connection point.
Maintenance & Care
Inspect the coupling quarterly for signs of wear. Check that the collet teeth are sharp and the O-ring remains pliable. Replace the coupling if you notice air leaks, difficulty inserting tubes, or visible corrosion. Clean external surfaces with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol—avoid petroleum-based solvents that may degrade the O-ring.
