Fitting Guide
Installation Instructions

Prepare the hose end. Cut the 8mm ID air hose squarely using a sharp blade. The cut face must be clean, flat, and free from debris or burrs.

Soften the hose if required. For stiffer hose materials, briefly immerse the hose end in hot water for 30 to 60 seconds to increase flexibility and ease of fitting.

Lubricate the tailpiece. Apply a small amount of soapy water or pneumatic-grade lubricant to the barbed tailpiece to reduce insertion resistance.

Seat the hose fully. Push the hose onto the tailpiece with a firm, twisting motion until the hose end seats flush against the shoulder of the fitting body.

Secure with a hose clamp. For maximum retention and pressure safety, fit an appropriately sized hose clamp over the barbed section and tighten to the manufacturer's torque specification.

Pressure test the connection. Pressurise the system gradually and inspect the joint for leaks using a soapy water solution. Do not operate at full working pressure until the connection has been confirmed leak-free.
