Installation & Usage
- Thread Preparation: Clean the R 1/4 BSP male thread on your air tool, hose, or manifold. Apply PTFE tape or thread sealant to ensure a gas-tight seal.
- Installation: Hand-tighten the coupling onto the male thread, then use a spanner to tighten an additional 1.5–2 turns. Do not over-tighten.
- Connection: Push the coupling firmly into the corresponding ISO B12 female coupler until you hear an audible click, confirming secure engagement.
- Disconnection: Pull back the collar on the female coupler while withdrawing the male coupling. System pressure will vent safely through the valve.
- Maintenance: Periodically inspect seals and threads. Clean with compressed air and apply light machine oil to moving parts.
