Installation Guidelines
- Thread Preparation: Ensure both male and female threads are clean and free from debris or old sealant.
- Sealant Application: Apply 2-3 wraps of PTFE tape to the R 1/2 male thread, or use appropriate thread sealant compound.
- Hand Tighten: Thread the adapter hand-tight into the Rp 1/4 female port to ensure correct alignment.
- Final Torque: Use appropriate spanners on the hex body. Tighten firmly but avoid over-torquing which may damage threads.
- Pressure Test: Pressurize the system gradually and check for leaks. Re-tighten if necessary.
