System Compatibility
This male thread coupling accepts all 60 Series adaptors including:

- Blanking plugs and caps
Note: 60 Series is not compatible with Euro or Orion series fittings. Ensure your existing system uses 60 Series components.
Installation Guidelines
- Thread Preparation: Ensure the R 1/2 BSP female port is clean and free from debris. Apply PTFE tape (3-4 wraps) or liquid thread sealant to the male thread.
- Tightening: Hand-tighten the coupling into the port, then use a 27mm spanner to achieve a secure seal. Do not over-tighten—typically 1.5 turns past hand-tight is sufficient.
- Testing: Pressurise the system gradually and check for leaks using soapy water. Re-tighten if necessary.
- Operation: Push the adaptor firmly into the coupling until you hear a click. Pull gently to confirm engagement. To disconnect, pull back the collar and withdraw the adaptor.
Maintenance & Care
To ensure long service life and reliable operation:
- Inspect the internal valve and seal quarterly for wear or contamination
- Clean the coupling body with a lint-free cloth; avoid solvents that may damage seals
- Apply a drop of pneumatic tool oil to the internal mechanism every 6 months
- Replace if the automatic shut-off valve fails to seal or if air leakage occurs
