Fitting Guide
- Depressurise the air system completely before beginning any work on the line.
- Cut the hose cleanly and squarely using a hose cutter to ensure a flush, even bore.
- Slide a hose clamp onto the hose before inserting the tailpiece.
- Push the barbed tailpiece firmly into the hose bore until fully seated against the hose end.
- Position the clamp over the barb section and tighten securely to the manufacturer's torque specification.
- Connect the coned nose to the compatible union nut or coupling and tighten to form a leak-free seal.
- Repressurise the system gradually and check all joints for air leaks before returning to service.
