Common Applications
Installation & Usage
Thread Preparation: Clean the RP 1/2 male thread thoroughly and apply 2-3 wraps of PTFE tape in a clockwise direction. Ensure no tape overhangs into the bore to prevent contamination.
Installation: Hand-tighten the coupling onto the male thread, then use a spanner on the hex body to achieve a secure seal. Avoid over-tightening which may damage the brass threads.
Connection: To connect, simply push the male plug firmly into the coupling until you hear an audible click. Pull gently to confirm secure engagement.
Disconnection: Pull back the spring-loaded sleeve while withdrawing the plug. The automatic shut-off valve will close to prevent air loss.
