Performance Characteristics

  • Extended Reach35 metres covers multi-bay workshops and large vehicle facilities without extension hoses or pressure loss.
  • Optimal Airflow7mm (¼″) bore sustains high CFM delivery for impact wrenches, spray guns, and air ratchets simultaneously.
  • Kink & Memory ResistantPU construction retains flexibility at sub-zero temperatures; no coil memory after storage.
  • Abrasion Resistant14mm OD outer wall withstands dragging across concrete, steel edges, and grit without surface cracking.
  • Oil & Chemical ResistantResists hydraulic oils, fuels, degreasers, and common workshop solvents.
  • UV StableSuitable for outdoor use and covered yard environments without UV-induced brittleness.
  • LightweightPU is significantly lighter than rubber equivalents — reduces fatigue on long shifts.
  • Cold-Weather FlexibleRated to −20°C; remains pliable in unheated workshops and cold-store environments.
Engineer's Note

At 35 metres, expect a pressure drop of approximately 0.3–0.5 bar at typical workshop flow rates. Size your compressor to deliver a minimum of 150 l/min (5.3 CFM) at your required working pressure to compensate. For spray-painting applications requiring consistent atomisation pressure, install an inline regulator at the tool end.

Professional Applications

Automotive & Tyre Workshops

Reaches across multi-bay facilities for tyre inflation, impact wrench operation, and bodywork spray painting without repositioning the compressor.

Fleet & HGV Maintenance

Sufficient length to service articulated lorries, coaches, and plant machinery from a single compressor connection point.

Manufacturing & Assembly Lines

Delivers reliable, consistent air to pneumatic screwdrivers, riveters, and assembly tools across production floor runs.

Construction & Site Work

Powers nail guns, staplers, and breakers across large work areas. Resists site debris, concrete dust, and UV exposure.

System Integration

This hose accepts standard ¼″ BSP pneumatic fittings — the UK workshop standard — ensuring drop-in compatibility with the vast majority of existing air systems. Pair with quick-release couplers for rapid tool changes, or install an inline filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) unit for precision tool applications.

For permanent installations, mount on a wall-bracket hose reel to extend service life and eliminate trip hazards. Compatible with all Air Compressors UK fittings, couplers, and reels.

Care & Maintenance

  • Drain condensate from the hose after each use — prevents internal corrosion of brass fittings and tool damage.
  • Store loosely coiled on a hose reel or wall-mounted bracket; avoid tight coiling which induces kink memory.
  • Inspect couplings and outer wall regularly for cuts, abrasion damage, or fitting movement.
  • Never exceed 10 bar (145 PSI) working pressure under any operating condition.
  • Clean exterior with mild detergent and water; avoid ketone-based or chlorinated solvents.
  • Replace immediately if outer wall shows cracking, bubbling, or coupling weeping.
