Description
Professional Pneumatic Tools — Air Compressors UK
Air Curtain Blowgun
Ergonomic · Rp1/4 BSP
Wide-pattern pneumatic cleaning engineered for all-day workshop use. Precision-machined. Trade-grade. UK stock.
Overview
The Air Curtain Blowgun is the tool that separates a productive workshop from a slow one. Its wide, flat air curtain clears swarf, dust, and debris from large surface areas in a single controlled pass — dramatically reducing cleaning time versus a conventional pencil-jet blowgun.
Fitted with a contoured ergonomic grip and balanced trigger placement, it is designed for sustained use without the hand fatigue that accumulates over a full shift. The standard Rp1/4 BSP parallel thread inlet connects directly to all UK pneumatic quick-couplers and hose assemblies — no adaptors, no compromises.
Air Curtain Technology
Wide, flat air pattern maximises surface coverage per pass. Clears swarf, dust, and fine particulate efficiently — reducing compressed air consumption versus narrow-jet alternatives.
Ergonomic Grip
Contoured handle with balanced weight distribution and intuitive trigger placement. Engineered for all-day use without cumulative hand strain or operator fatigue.
Universal BSP Compatibility
Rp1/4 BSP parallel thread inlet is the UK workshop standard. Fits all pneumatic quick-couplers and hose assemblies without modification or additional adaptors.
Precision-Machined Components
Manufactured to exacting tolerances for demanding industrial environments. Consistent performance and long service life under continuous professional use.

Professional Applications
Workshop Cleaning
Clear workbenches, machinery beds, and assembly areas of swarf and dust in a single efficient pass.
Component Preparation
Remove machining contaminants from precision parts before assembly, finishing, or quality inspection.
Equipment Maintenance
Access and clean hard-to-reach cavities in pneumatic tools, motors, and mechanical assemblies.
Surface Drying
Rapidly evacuate moisture from components after washing, degreasing, or coolant exposure.
Tyre Bay & Fleet Use
Ideal for clearing brake dust, debris, and moisture from wheel assemblies and undercarriage components.
Quality Inspection
Clear inspection surfaces for accurate visual examination — no residual particulate to obscure defects.
Operating Guidelines
- Connect to compressed air supply via Rp1/4 BSP inlet. Recommended operating pressure: 6–8 bar (87–116 PSI).
- Ensure air supply is clean and dry. Use an inline filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) unit if not already fitted to your system.
- Hold the blowgun at approximately 45° to the work surface for optimal debris displacement.
- Maintain a working distance of 150–300 mm from the surface for best air curtain performance.
- Use short, controlled bursts rather than continuous flow to maximise efficiency and reduce air consumption.
- Always wear appropriate PPE — safety glasses and hearing protection are mandatory when operating pneumatic tools.
