The Standard for Serious Workshops

Moisture in a compressed air line is the silent saboteur of precision work — causing rust, contaminating spray finishes, seizing pneumatic tools, and voiding equipment warranties. The Dropout® Stainless Steel Water Separator eliminates that risk at source. Using centrifugal cyclonic separation, it strips liquid water and bulk contamination from your air supply with 99.9999% efficiency — before it ever reaches your tools, spray guns, or production line.

Constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel throughout, this is not a disposable plastic filter housing. It is a permanent, maintenance-free infrastructure component rated for continuous industrial duty — with no consumable elements, no electrical supply, and no ongoing cost.

⚙️
Cyclonic Separation
High-velocity centrifugal action spins moisture and particulate to the bowl wall for gravity drainage — no filter media to replace.
🔩
Grade 304 Stainless Body
Corrosion-proof construction withstands aggressive industrial environments, oils, and condensate chemistry indefinitely.
💨
450 L/min Capacity
Handles high-demand compressor outputs without pressure drop — suitable for multi-tool workshop and production line use.
🔌
1/2" BSP Ports
Standard British Standard Pipe thread for direct, tool-free integration into existing UK compressed air infrastructure.
Zero Running Costs
No electricity, no consumables, no scheduled maintenance. Install once and operate indefinitely at zero ongoing expense.
🎯
1μm Particulate Rating
Captures fine particulate contamination alongside bulk liquid — protecting downstream regulators, valves, and precision tooling.

Why Dropout® vs. Standard Dryers

The Case for Cyclonic Separation

Traditional Refrigerant Dryers

High capital cost — £800–£3,000+
Ongoing electricity consumption
Scheduled servicing & refrigerant recharge
Compressor failure risk if dryer fails
Bulky — requires dedicated floor space

Dropout® Water Separator

One-time investment — zero ongoing cost
No electricity — fully passive operation
No consumables, no service intervals
Inline installation — minimal footprint
Grade 304 stainless — indefinite service life

Installation Guide

Five Steps to Clean Air

1
Depressurise the System
Isolate the compressor and fully bleed the air line before beginning any installation work.
2
Select Installation Point
Mount downstream of the compressor aftercooler and receiver tank, before your regulator and point-of-use tools.
3
Observe Flow Direction
Align the unit so the flow arrow on the body matches your air line direction. Incorrect orientation will impair separation efficiency.
4
Connect 1/2" BSP Ports
Apply PTFE thread tape to male threads and hand-tighten, then torque to manufacturer specification. Do not overtighten stainless fittings.
5
Pressurise & Check
Slowly re-pressurise the system and inspect all connections for leaks using soapy water or leak detection spray. Drain the bowl after the first hour of operation.
