Installation Guidelines
Professional Installation Recommended: Use PTFE tape or liquid sealant on male threads. Tighten to manufacturer's torque specifications. Do not over-tighten female fittings.

- Apply appropriate thread sealant to male component threads (3-4 wraps of PTFE tape or liquid sealant)
- Hand-tighten male fittings into female ports until resistance is felt
- Use appropriate spanners to achieve final torque (typically 1.5-2 turns past hand-tight for RP1/2")
- Pressure-test system at 1.5× operating pressure before commissioning
- Inspect connections regularly for signs of wear or leakage
