Where This Fitting Performs

Workshop Air Systems

Route compressed air lines around obstacles and through tight cabinet spaces with a clean 90° change of direction.

Industrial Pneumatics

Suitable for production line pneumatic circuits, actuator feeds, and manifold connections requiring BSP parallel fittings.

Maintenance & Retrofit

Direct replacement for worn or damaged elbow fittings in existing compressed air installations — no system redesign required.

Fitting Guide

1
Depressurise the air system completely before beginning any fitting work.
2
Clean both mating threads and inspect for damage or contamination.
3
Apply 2–3 wraps of PTFE thread seal tape to the male threads being connected into this fitting, or use an approved thread sealant compound.
4
Hand-tighten first, then use an appropriate spanner to achieve a firm, leak-free connection. Do not overtighten — brass threads can be damaged by excessive torque.
5
Repressurise gradually and check all connections with soapy water or leak detection fluid before returning to full operating pressure.
