Installation Guidelines
- Thread Preparation: Clean both female ports thoroughly. Apply 2-3 wraps of PTFE tape to male threads in a clockwise direction (when viewing thread end-on).
- Hand Tighten: Thread male fittings into both ports by hand until finger-tight. Ensure proper alignment for your application.
- Final Torque: Use appropriate spanners to tighten 1.5 to 2 full turns past hand-tight. Avoid over-tightening which can crack the fitting.
- Pressure Test: Pressurize system gradually and check all connections with leak detection fluid before full operation.
