- Prepare the tube: Cut polyurethane or nylon tube squarely using a sharp blade—clean cuts prevent leaks
- Insert fully: Push tube firmly into fitting until it bottoms out and you feel resistance
- Verify connection: Tug gently on tube to confirm collet engagement
- Pressurize gradually: Bring system up to operating pressure and check for leaks
- To disconnect: Push collar toward fitting body while pulling tube out
