Precision-Machined Brass

Corrosion-resistant brass body maintains air-tight integrity under sustained workshop pressure — outlasting plastic alternatives by years.

Instant Hose Repair

Restore a severed or split air hose in minutes. No need to replace the entire hose run — cut, clamp, and return to work.

Dual-Purpose Design

Functions as both a hose repairer and an extension connector — one fitting, two critical applications on the workshop floor.

Engineered Barbed Profile

Deep-cut barbs bite into the hose bore and resist pull-out under pressure, delivering a leak-free seal when secured with clamps.

Workshop-Ready Durability

Tested for high-cycle pneumatic environments — automotive workshops, manufacturing lines, and maintenance operations.

Universal Compatibility

Fits any standard 9.5mm (3/8") I/D rubber or PVC air hose. Works with all major compressor brands and pneumatic tool systems.

  • Emergency repair of split or severed compressed air hoses in workshop and field environments
  • Extending existing hose runs to reach remote workstations or machinery
  • Joining multiple hose sections for custom pneumatic circuit configurations
  • Automotive workshops, tyre bays, and vehicle service centres
  • Manufacturing facilities, assembly lines, and maintenance departments
  • Agricultural and plant machinery pneumatic systems
  • DIY workshops and home garage compressor setups

  1. Depressurise the air line and cut the hose cleanly at the damaged point using a sharp blade or hose cutter — a clean, square cut is essential for a leak-free seal.
  2. Slide a hose clamp onto each hose end before inserting the connector — this step is frequently missed and causes leaks.
  3. Push each hose end firmly onto the barbed spigots until the hose butts against the centre collar. Apply a twisting motion if resistance is felt.
  4. Position each hose clamp over the barbed section and tighten securely with a screwdriver or nut driver.
  5. Pressurise the system gradually and inspect the joint for leaks before returning to full operating pressure.

This fitting is designed exclusively for 9.5mm (3/8") internal diameter air hose. Using with hose of a different bore will result in an insecure fit and potential air loss. If you are unsure of your hose size, measure the internal bore diameter before ordering. Air Compressors UK stocks connectors for all common hose sizes — contact us if you need assistance selecting the correct fitting.
