Installation Guide

  1. Depressurise the system fully before beginning any fitting work.
  2. Inspect the port thread for damage or contamination; clean with a wire brush if necessary.
  3. Apply PTFE thread tape (2–3 wraps) to the male thread in the direction of the thread helix.
  4. Hand-tighten the adaptor into the port, then use a spanner to tighten a further 1–2 turns — do not overtighten.
  5. Push the hose firmly over the barbed tail until it seats fully against the shoulder.
  6. Secure with a hose clip (recommended for pressures above 150 PSI or permanent installations).
