Description
R 1/2" BSP Male Thread
Steel Quick-Release Air Coupling
Precision-machined from zinc-plated steel with a Broomwade-profile interchange, this coupling delivers 54 CFM at 100 PSI through a knurled quick-release sleeve — built for the sustained demands of professional workshop, industrial, and manufacturing compressed-air systems.
The InstantAir R 1/2" male-thread coupling installs directly into female-threaded air lines, manifolds, regulators, and pneumatic equipment. Its precision-machined hex body accepts a standard spanner for torque-controlled installation, while the knurled release sleeve allows single-handed plug connection and disconnection — reducing changeover time and operator fatigue in high-cycle environments.
Manufactured from heavy-duty steel with a zinc-plate finish for corrosion resistance, this coupling is rated to 17 bar (250 psi) with a nominal bore of 5.6 mm and a flow capacity of 54 CFM at 100 PSI — delivering the unrestricted airflow that demanding pneumatic tooling requires.

Apply pneumatic-grade PTFE tape or thread sealant to the male thread before installation. Use the hexagonal body with the correct spanner — do not overtighten. Always isolate and fully depressurise the compressed-air system before installation, servicing, or removal.
