Installation Guide
- Thread Preparation — Ensure the female thread port is clean and free from debris, old sealant, or swarf before fitting.
- Apply Thread Sealant — Wrap PTFE tape clockwise around the male threads (2 to 3 wraps), or apply a suitable liquid thread sealant.
- Hand Tighten — Thread the adaptor into the female port until fully hand-tight.
- Final Torque — Use an appropriate spanner to tighten 1 to 1.5 turns beyond hand-tight. Do not over-torque.
- Pressure Test — Pressurise the system gradually and inspect all joints with a soapy water solution to confirm a leak-free seal.
