Installation Best Practices
- Select the correct size: Measure the outside diameter of your hose. The clip should overlap by at least 10mm when fully tightened.
- Position the clip: Slide the clip over the hose end, positioning it 5–10mm from the hose edge to prevent splitting.
- Install the fitting: Push the hose firmly onto the barbed or serrated fitting until it reaches the stop.
- Align the screw: Rotate the clip so the screw head is accessible and not obstructed by adjacent components.
- Tighten progressively: Use an 8mm socket or spanner to tighten the screw gradually. Stop when the hose compresses slightly but is not deformed.
- Verify the seal: Pressurize the system gradually and inspect for leaks. Re-tighten if necessary, but avoid over-torquing.
