Best Practice for a Leak-Free Joint

• Confirm the hose OD falls within the 135–165mm clamping range before ordering — measure the hose, not the fitting.
• Position the clip at least 5mm from the end of the hose to prevent the band from riding off under pressure.
• Tighten progressively to the rated torque (max 4.5 Nm) — do not over-torque, which can distort the band or damage soft hose materials.
• For high-vibration applications, consider a second clip offset by 180° for redundancy.
• Inspect periodically in service; re-torque if any movement is detected, particularly after initial thermal cycling.
