Connect to a compressed air system delivering 6.3 bar (90 PSI) with minimum 73.6 L/min (2.6 CFM) flow capacity at the tool inlet.
For Optimal Performance & Tool Longevity:
- Install an inline filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) unit upstream of the tool
- Use minimum 10mm (3/8") ID air hose as specified by manufacturer
- Upgrade to 13mm (1/2") ID hose for runs exceeding 15 metres
- Apply 2–3 drops of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet before each shift
- Verify air pressure at the tool inlet under load conditions
- Drain moisture from air lines and FRL unit daily
