Installation & Maintenance
- Thread Preparation: Ensure female thread is clean and free from debris or old sealant
- Thread Seal: Apply PTFE tape or appropriate thread sealant to male connection
- Hand Tighten: Thread adaptor by hand until finger-tight
- Final Torque: Use appropriate spanner to tighten 1-2 turns beyond hand-tight
- Pressure Test: Pressurize system gradually and check for leaks with soapy water
Maintenance: Inspect connections periodically for wear or damage. Replace if threads show signs of stripping or corrosion.
