Installation Guide
- Prepare the tube: Cut 6mm polyurethane or nylon tube square using a sharp blade. Ensure clean, burr-free edge.
- Insert fully: Push tube firmly into the reducer body until it bottoms out. You'll feel positive engagement.
- Thread the stem: Apply PTFE tape to 12mm male stem threads (3–4 wraps). Thread reducer onto equipment port hand-tight, then 1–1.5 turns with wrench.
- Pressure test: Gradually introduce air pressure. Check for leaks at both connections using soapy water solution.
- Release method: To disconnect tube, press collet ring while pulling tube. Never force removal under pressure.
