Description
R1/8 BSP Male Thread Swivel Elbow to 4mm Tube
Premium brass pneumatic fitting engineered for professional workshop environments
Technical Specification
Engineering Excellence
This precision-engineered swivel elbow delivers unrestricted 360° rotation, eliminating tube kinking and reducing installation stress in confined workshop spaces. The rotating male thread allows optimal positioning without compromising pneumatic system integrity.
Manufactured from high-grade brass alloy for superior corrosion resistance and extended service life in demanding industrial environments. The push-fit tube connection ensures instant, tool-free assembly with secure grip retention up to 10 bar working pressure.
Key Performance Features
- 360° Swivel Action — Full rotation eliminates tube twist and simplifies routing in tight spaces
- Instant Push-Fit Connection — Tool-free tube insertion with automatic collet grip and O-ring seal
- Premium Brass Construction — Nickel-plated finish resists corrosion and maintains appearance
- R1/8 BSP Male Thread — Parallel British Standard Pipe thread for universal compatibility
- Compact 90° Profile — Space-efficient elbow design for panel mounting and manifold connections
- 10 Bar Working Pressure — Rated for standard compressed air systems up to 145 PSI
Professional Applications
Workshop Air Tools — Connect pneumatic drills, impact wrenches, and spray guns with flexible tube routing
Automation Systems — Integrate with PLC-controlled actuators and valve manifolds in production lines
Mobile Equipment — Ideal for vehicle-mounted compressors and fleet maintenance applications
Panel Mounting — Swivel action simplifies tube connection behind control panels and enclosures
Installation & Compatibility
Thread Installation: Apply PTFE tape or thread sealant to R1/8 male thread. Hand-tighten into female port, then wrench-tighten 1-1.5 turns. Do not over-torque.
Tube Connection: Cut polyurethane or nylon tube square with sharp blade. Push tube firmly into fitting until it bottoms against internal stop. Tug gently to verify collet engagement.
Tube Removal: Press collet release ring while pulling tube. Clean and inspect tube end before reconnection.
Compatible Tubing: 4mm OD polyurethane (PU), nylon (PA), or polyethylene (PE) pneumatic tube. Maximum working pressure 10 bar at 20°C.
