Ideal Applications
This swivel elbow excels in pneumatic installations where space is limited and hose flexibility is critical:
- Workshop air tool connections in confined machinery spaces
- Mobile equipment and vehicle-mounted compressor systems
- Automated production lines requiring frequent repositioning
- Maintenance and repair scenarios with restricted access
- Pneumatic control panels and manifold assemblies
Installation & Maintenance
Installation: Apply PTFE tape or thread sealant to the R1/8 male thread. Hand-tighten into the female port, then use a spanner to achieve a secure seal (typically 1–1.5 turns past hand-tight). Insert 6mm polyurethane or nylon tube fully into the push-fit collar until it clicks.
Removal: To disconnect the tube, press the release collar while pulling the tube straight out. Avoid twisting during removal to prevent damage to the O-ring seal.
Maintenance: Inspect O-ring seals periodically for wear or damage. Replace if air leaks are detected. Clean threads before reinstallation to ensure optimal sealing.
Quality & Compliance
Manufactured to ISO 9001 standards, this fitting meets stringent quality benchmarks for pneumatic components. The nickel-plated brass body resists corrosion in humid workshop environments, while precision-machined threads ensure leak-free performance across thousands of connection cycles.
