Installation Guide

Select mounting position — wall or ceiling with clear swing radius. Ensure the reel can rotate freely without obstruction.

Secure the bracket — use M10 bolts into masonry anchors or structural timber. Do not mount to plasterboard alone.

Connect air supply — thread 1/4" BSP male fitting from compressor or ring main into the reel inlet. Apply PTFE tape for a leak-free seal.

Pressurise and test — pull hose to full extension, verify smooth retraction and locking function at multiple positions.

Set the stopper — adjust the deployment limiter to your preferred maximum reach if required.
Care & Maintenance
- Inspect hose quarterly for cuts, abrasion marks, or coupling wear — replace immediately if pressure drop or leakage is detected
- Lubricate the swivel bearing annually with a light machine oil (ISO VG 32 or equivalent)
- Drain condensation from the hose after extended use in humid or cold environments to prevent internal corrosion
- Store fully retracted when not in use — protects the hose from UV degradation and contamination
- Check mounting fixings every 6 months for vibration-induced loosening, particularly in high-cycle environments
