- Position the clip: Slide the worm drive clip over the hose end before fitting to the barb or connector.
- Fit the hose: Push the hose fully onto the fitting or barb, ensuring complete engagement.
- Position the clip: Move the clip to sit approximately 5–10mm from the hose end, centered over the barb.
- Tighten securely: Use a flat-head screwdriver to turn the worm screw clockwise until the band is snug. Avoid over-tightening, which may damage the hose.
