Installation Best Practice
- Position the clip approximately 5–10mm from the end of the hose, ensuring the band sits flat with no twist.
- Hand-tighten the hex screw until the clip is snug against the hose surface with no visible gap.
- Torque to specification — apply up to 4Nm using a calibrated torque screwdriver or socket. Do not over-torque; excess force can deform the hose or strip the thread.
- Inspect under pressure — after initial pressurisation, check for seepage and re-torque if required. Rubber hoses may compress slightly on first use.
- Re-check periodically in high-vibration environments. Worm drive clips are re-adjustable — no replacement required for minor re-tensioning.
