Installation & Compatibility
The R 1/4" BSP male thread is designed for direct installation into female-threaded ports on air tools, hose assemblies, regulators, and manifold outlets. Apply PTFE tape or thread sealant to the male thread before installation to ensure a pressure-tight seal.
Torque Specification: Hand-tighten plus 1–1.5 turns with a spanner. Avoid over-tightening, which may damage the coupling body or receiving port.
Compatibility Note: This XF-Euro coupling mates with all XF-profile female adaptors and plugs. Verify your existing system uses XF-Euro standard before ordering. Not compatible with ARO, Orion, or other proprietary profiles without an adapter.
