Installation Guide
- Prepare the Thread: Apply PTFE tape or thread sealant to the R 1/4 male thread (2-3 wraps clockwise)
- Thread Connection: Hand-tighten the coupling into the female port, then use a spanner to secure (do not over-tighten)
- Tube Preparation: Cut the 6mm tube squarely using a tube cutter—ensure a clean, burr-free edge
- Push-Fit Connection: Push the tube firmly into the coupling until it bottoms out (you'll feel resistance)
- Pressure Test: Pressurize the system gradually and check for leaks using soapy water
Disconnection: To remove the tube, press the collet ring while pulling the tube outward.
