Common Applications
Installation & Usage
Thread Preparation: Ensure the Rp 1/2 male thread is clean and free from debris. Apply PTFE tape or liquid sealant to the male thread (not the coupling's female thread) for optimal seal integrity.
Installation: Hand-tighten the coupling onto the male thread. Use a wrench on the hex body to achieve final torque – typically 25-30 Nm for Rp 1/2 connections. Avoid over-tightening which may damage the brass threads.
Connection: Push the mating adaptor firmly into the coupling until you hear an audible click. Pull gently to confirm the lock has engaged.
Disconnection: Ensure air pressure is released from the system. Pull back the coupling sleeve and withdraw the adaptor in one smooth motion.
